Liquid membranes (LM) are made of liquid consisting of thin oil film present either in supported or unsupported form that aids as a membrane barrier between two phases of aqueous solutions or gas mixtures liquid-based coating suitable for many waterproofing and roofing applications. Liquid membranes are sprayed or applied by brush or roller to the concrete surface which forms a thick joint free membrane in contact with air. The coating cures to form a rubber-like elastomeric waterproof membrane and can be easily applied over many substrates, including bitumen, asphalt, and concrete. Liquid membrane protection helps to extend the service life of structures and are indispensable for protecting many building structures.
